The Pleasant View Metropolitan District
is a special district in unincorporated Jefferson County 6th Ave frontage road to 15th Ave and South Table Mountain. Coors St. to Ulysses St.
Our staff is comprised of 30 Volunteer fire fighters and three paid administrators. All of our members are trained to a minimum standard of State of Colorado Firefighter 1, Hazardous Materials Operations, and First Responder. Our members are required to contribute 36 hours of duty time each month.

located at the base of the Rocky Mountains on the I-70
corridor. We encompass about two square miles of primarily
residential area but we also protect industrial, commercial,
highway, and open space land. The fire department also
provides service to the Colorado Mills Mall and Denver West
shopping center in Lakewood. We work closely with West Metro
Fire to provide service to the shopping areas. Our district
borders are as follows:
We
operate four front line apparatus out of one station with
one apparatus in reserve status. Engine 1 is our primary
response unit, this apparatus responds as first due to all
calls within the Pleasant View Metropolitan District. Truck
1 responds as second due to the Colorado Mills mall and
Denver West shopping center.
