Members of this organization are required to contribute a minimum of 36 duty hours per month as well as 8 hours of training. New members are placed on probation for one year, where they are required to attend ALL department trainings for the duration of probation. Certified recruits will be placed on active duty following orientation. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the time of appointment, have an acceptable driving history, and no criminal activity. We accept applications on an ongoing basis. The next testing process will be in fall 2008.
